Created and handmade in Ireland by chandler, John Seagram, our candles and fragrances are lovingly crafted to provide balance and to pamper your mind, body and spirit.

Our candles and wax melts only use 100% Natural Soy Wax and our fragrances are a carefully selected blend of aromatic oils infused with natural essential oil extracts ensuring a truly immersive experience. Likewise, our reed diffusers use a plant-based oil from renewable sources. All of our products are vegan friendly.

Why do scents affect memories and emotions?

Fragrances evoke freshness and softness. They can adjust our mood and enrich our lives. They can trigger forgotten memories, emotions and capture our imagination.

How do they do this? Well, here’s the science bit… The olfactory bulb connects directly to the limbic portion of the brain. This highly-specialized portion of the brain is also home to the amygdala (responsible for our emotions and feelings) and the hippo-campus (where our memories are stored). These brain centres perceive odours and simultaneously access memories and their associated feelings and emotions.

This direct connection between nose and brain centres is why smells often trigger memories. It also explains how aromas provide emotional support. Tiny molecules are working inside your brain to unlock traumas, conflicts, and memories that may be causing emotional stress.

Your purchases support a non-profit organisation that is currently working with over 4,000 farming families in Cameroon, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, Guinea and Tanzania to improve their livelihoods by revitalizing degraded lands.

Their goal is to break the cycle of poverty and eradicate hunger for 1 million people by planting 500 million trees in 125,000 Forest Gardens.
